Welcoming the new Cohort 6 Associates

The National Academy for Educational Leadership are delighted to welcome 16 new leaders to the role of Associate in our sixth cohort. The Associates are all practising senior educational leaders and are an invaluable resource that ensures the voice of leadership is heard in all of the National Academy for Educational Leadership’s planning, activity and reflection.

Tegwen Ellis, the Chief Executive of the National Academy for Educational Leadership, said: “It is a great pleasure and honour to welcome the latest cohort of senior educational leaders to become Associates of the National Academy for Educational Leadership.

“I look forward to collaborating with these high-quality leaders over the next two years and seeing how their passion and enthusiasm for all things leadership helps shape the vision and purpose of the National Academy for Educational Leadership.”

    The National Academy for Educational Leadership appoints an annual cohort of Associates, all currently practising senior educational leaders. The Associates provide the National Academy for Educational Leadership with opportunities to access their expertise and knowledge as current educational leaders.

    The National Academy for Educational Leadership now has multiple cohorts of Associates from across Wales progressing through a mature system leadership model and they are having measurable impacts on the education system beyond their own organisations.
