BRIEF TO CARRY OUT A COMMUNITY ART COMMISSION WITH ENGAGEMENT AND INTERPRETATION

AddoldaI Cymru the Welsh Religious Buildings Trust is inviting applications from artists/facilitators with a collaborative/participative approach to their work to undertake a series of workshops with members of the local community of Aberdare and from these to create artwork to be incorporated into a variety of interpretation outputs.
The artist will be someone interested in working within a Welsh heritage/historical site, specifically chapel heritage with a keen interest in the Eisteddfod and/or Welsh folk tradition. An ethos of collaborative practice and engagement is essential.
The Trust will consider a joint commission.
Welsh language skills are essential for this commission, AND in the case of a job share at least one should be a Welsh speaker.
